CONTRIBUTOR GUIDELINES:

Submit your news bytes, press releases, or other story requests to us via email. We can not guarantee all items submitted will be published.

Writers and Photographers

We are always looking for holiday-themed stories, non-holiday stories, mini mysteries, romances, poetry, photos, fiction and non-fiction that feature a Florida location.

Stories should be under 1000 words, photos should be supplied both as high resolution and low resolution files (but query with low resolution only). We'd love to hear your pitch for any other stories you feel we should publish!

We ask for the rights to use the story/photos/poetry for the lifetime of the copyright, but you may publish them elsewhere, too.

Please do not submit material that is not yours. People, businesses, and pets photographed must be accompanied by model/property releases. If you know of an interesting story that you would like us to check out, just drop us a note.

If there is someone you feel we should interview, some place that should be photographed send us your tip.

We prefer all submissions to be sent via email, but snail mail is accepted.

We'll pay you $10 for your photo, and $50 for your mini mystery, romance, short story, or $5 for your poem. All assignment stories are paid and negotiated separately. Do not submit unless you are the copyright holder and are allowing us to use your work in print, online, and archived editions for the life of the copyrights.  You keep the copyrights. : )
